Departure to Frankfurt/Pittsburgh

I had a fun night and when I got up I was extremely tired. I had to be up and checked out of the hostel by 7:00 am so that I can make it to the airport before my plane took off. It took me about 2 hours to get to the Frankfurt airport. I had some trouble trying to find my terminal but I was able to get to my terminal around 10:00 am and I was just waiting to get on the plane at 11:20 am when the plane departed. I was very sad to go but I had a blast in Germany and I would definitely visit Germany again. I got to the airport and just remembered all the fun times I had in Germany and was very thankful that I was able to visit. I would recommend to everyone that Germany is a beautiful place in Europe. I had some trouble getting out of Germany because I had an American passport but everything worked out and I was on my way back home.

Freiburg Square

I didn't want to wake up early today so I slept in pretty late. I was tired from always going to bed late and waking up early that today I woke up around 1:30 pm. I was shocked that I even slept in that late. I got ready to start my day and see what John, Anastasia, and Norman were up to today. Anastasia was staying at a college ground where a lot of students stayed. It had a lot of great scenery that were for teenagers/college students. Anastasia and I were walking around Freiburg Square looking around at the the shops and tdaking pictures of the freat scenery. We went into a coffee shop near by and I didn't order anything so I got a news paper and they were free. They had both an English and German version. One if the main articles were about the neo-nazi party being ban in the local newspaper. (http://www.thelocal.de/politics/20110422-34569.html )And there was another newspaper, Deutsche Welle, and they had the same article but about how the number of violent attacks is rising as we speak. (http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,14996515,00.html ) It was a very interesting topic and as Anastasia got a small coffee and a muffin I was very interested in the topic and wondered how much this affected people. After we were done at the coffee shop we went and walked around more. We had a very relaxing day and she invited me to go back to her place and just talk and have fun. When we went to her place she introduced me to so many people it was really fun. Later on that night her best friend down the hall and so we changed our clothes and we went to go eat at the same restaurant we ate at last night. I got a mini pizza again because it was really good and cheap. When we were done we headed back to her place and went to the party. It was around 9:30 pm and I was really excited to have a good night. We ate, danced, played games, and so many more activities. It was getting really late so I went back to my hostel around 1:00 am. I can't wait to spend my last few hours tomorrow.

Münsterplatz Square

I was really excited when I got to my hostel and ready to explore. I was ready to see what Freiburg has. I decided to walk around and explore on my own and see where I ended up at. I decided to go somewhere near by and not to far from my hostel. There was a place called the Münsterplatz Square. It had a lot of historical and colorful buildings and it was a great place to go because the whether was beautiful. There was tall and elegant statues and buildings that went for many blocks. It was very relaxing and amusing. There seemed to be a lot of tourists and I decided to introduce myself to some of them so that we can all experience Germany as a whole. I met a couple of people that were a little bit older than me but very friendly. John, who was from Nebraska was visiting his aunt in Freiburg. Anastasia was doing a broad for her college from California, and Norman from Turkey (he spoke English) always wanted to see Germany. We all were taking pictures of the buildings and statues and getting to know each other. Norman suggested that we all go out to a Karaoke bar and have some fun. It was about 5:00 pm and I was hungry so me and Anastasia decided to leave the boys and go eat something. There was a nearby restaurant that was very fancy so we went back to our hostels and changed for the night. We met at the Greiffenegg-Schlössle and it had an amazing view. We didn't want to eat much so I just got a mini pizza which was $3.00. ( http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.greiffenegg.de/wcms/ftp//g/greiffenegg.de/uploads/menvorschlgeaktuell2011.pdf&prev=/search%3Fq%3DGreiffenegg-Schl%25C3%25B6ssle,%2BSchlo%25C3%259Fbergring,%2BFreiburg%2Bim%2BBreisgau,%2BDeutschland%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26prmd%3Divnsm&rurl=translate.google.com&twu=1&usg=ALkJrhittst4ebyU402gncEMBTenLxv_Bg ) After we ate there it was around 8:00 pm and we started to go to the Karaoke bar to meet the guys and have some fun. I was underage so I didn't drink but it was really funny seeing drunk people everywhere. The four of us then went up and started singing "Eye of the Tiger" and we were horrible but had a lot of fun. After we were done I was really tired and decided to go back to my hostel. It was around 12:30 am and John said he would walk me to my hostel so that nothing happened to me. I was happy to get my rest and excited to see what tomorrow was going to be like.

Freiburg, Germany

I had a lot of fun and now I am going to my last city, Freiburg. I am heading to the train station and I'm planning on arriving in Freiburg at 10:30 am. I wanted to get there so I have enough time to go places and waste my entire day. I am very excited to be visiting this city but also sad. I am going to have as much fun as I can here and enjoy Germany for the next couple days. I'm starting to get used to the German lifestyle so I don't think I am going to have communication problems. I also didn't want to go on tours or anything I just wanted to explore on my own have fun and meet more nice German people. I found a nice hostel that I will be staying at in Freiburg. It is very close to some historical landmarks that I will be visiting. The hostel comes with a lot of benefiting things on my part. It had free breakfast, close to historical landmarks, minutes away from the train station and many more!( https://secure.hostelbookers.com/checkout/index.cfm) I want to have the time of life here and remember why I always wanted to visit Germany so much. I can't wait to see what wonderful places I go to and share with you the moments that you might get to experience to. I can't wait until I get to Freiburg and have some fun!

City Gates

After I was done touring the Nymphenburg Palace it was getting pretty late. Luckily the best time to look at buildings and see historical landmarks was at night. It was getting  chilly but it there was a nice breeze so I didn't need my jacket. I took the bus and headed to City Gates. It took about 15 minutes to get there and the street lights started to come on and everything looked very romantic. City Gates was closed so I wasn't able to tour it but it looked a lot better from the outside. I was excited that I got to see the city at night including a lot of other things. I wasn't too hungry and I planned on getting pizza when I got back to the hotel. I saw the City Gates and I wasn't fascinated by it but it was definitely a good place to go look at. After going there I stopped and looked at some other places near City Gates that were nice landmarks to take pictures and see. On each side of the Gates was a big shopping center with a huge beautiful fountain in the middle. Many people come here and walk and shop. It was called the Karlspaltz. It was a nice environment to walk on a cool night. As much as I love to shop I didn't buy anything there were a lot of things that were really nice and I wanted but I stayed away from them. After the urge to buy so many things I had to see something else, so I went to look at Justizpalast which is a fine example of the 19th century German art and structure. It was really nice and a lot of people came to see it. I was happy that I got the opportunity to come see this. When I was done looking at this landmark I went to go see the Richard Strauss Fountain. It was a very unique fountain and at night there was a spot light that shined on it. You would see a bunch of little kids running through it and playing in it. After a long day of walking through the palace and seeing all these beautiful sights I decided to head back to my hostel, order pizza and go to sleep. I went to a pizza place near my hostel called Mama Pizza they were open until 11:00 pm. I got there around 9:15 pm and I ordered a Pizza Margherita. It had only mozzarella cheese on it and it wasn't that big. I paid about $8.000 for it which wasn't too bad. It was very good and I liked it a lot. They had a lot of other things like salad, pasta, lasagna, ice cream, deserts and many more. ( https://pizza.de/mama-pizza-muenchen-augustenstr-16#/framek050.020.htm )

Nymphenburg Palace

I slept very well last night and was ready for a great day. It was kind of cloudy out but the rain didn't seem like it would ruin my day. After breakfast I went to catch a bus to the palace and see what I was going to see and the places I could go that were around it. I took extra fruit little snacks they had because it was going to be a long but fun day. I got onto the bus and it was packed so I had to stand and it was so hard to do for some reason. I saw the palace and my jaw dropped I didn't believe I was going to be touring such a magnificent place and it was along the beach side which made it more amazing. It was a great place for tourist to come and see such a nice and pretty landmark. The admission fee was really expensive but it was definitely worth every euro I spent. I had to pay about $40.00 to get a tour which was all day so that was pretty good. When you first walked in everything was just like a regular palace just normal colored walls and large structures. When we started the tour each room had a different design and meaning to it. It was very  touching and fascinating that people in my group didn't really like me from how many questions I kept asking. The tour guide said that we could eat lunch and I decided to eat my fruit and snacks I got form my hostel because by lunch I'm not really that hungry. I was having so much fun that I wanted to tour the whole palace but that would take a very long time. I learned a lot about this place and was excited that I was able to have the opportunity to see it. This was a great place to visit as a tourist. Neuschwanstein Castle

After a long day outside exploring nature, I was ready for nice calm day inside exploring art. I headed to the Neuschwanstein Castle and was ready to explore. The castle was beautiful from the outside and was ready to see what the inside looked like. I got there around 10:30 am and planned on staying there all day because the tours weren't short. They took about 2 to 3 hours. The admission wasn't too expensive and it was worth it.(http://www.neuschwanstein.de/englisch/tourist/admiss.htm) We got to see a lot of the ancient things throughout the castle and I would love to explore this all the time, all the information was interesting. Their was a family in my tour group that was from a place my parents were from, Syria. I over heard them talking in Arabic and we started talking to each other. I told them that if they needed me to go places with them I would since they didn't know English or German. They were very nice to me and they also had 2 boys that were a little younger than me. We continued to tour the castle and each room was more beautiful than the last. After the tour was over it was around 5:00 pm and we were all hungry. They asked me if I was hungry and I said yes, so they offered to buy me some dinner. It was very nice to sit down and just relax and get to know each other. I had a lot of fun and after dinner I went back to my hostel and they went to their hotel. The castle was very beautiful and I had a lot of fun touring it and I recommend going there if you ever pass through Munich.

English Garden

I was ready to go to the English Garden and explore the wilderness. As I was leaving the hostel I remembered that I wasn't sure how to get there, so I asked the receptionist if he knew the best way to get there. He said that the best way to get there was by bus. He also told me where to get bus passes at. I went to the local bus ticket station which wasn't too far from my hostel. I found a 3 day pass that was only $20.00.
(http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.muenchen-touristeninformation.de/MVV_Tagestickets_Muenchen.htm&ei=m8WxTf-aCIODtge8w7T4Cw&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CD0Q7gEwAw&prev=/search%3Fq%3D3-tageskarte%2Bin%2Bmunich%2Bgermany%26hl%3Den%26prmd%3Divnsb) This was very useful for my transportation budget. I left to go to the English Garden around 11:00 am and I wanted to spend the whole day there. I got to the English Garden around 12:00 pm and was very excited to see what I was going to find there. I was just walking around for hours and exploring nature and I started to get hungry. I still had 2 rolls and some fruit from breakfast so I sat down at a bench near a little river and ate them. It was very peaceful and quiet. I then started to hike up and down hills through trees and just enjoying fresh air. It was getting late and I was getting hungry again. It was around 5:00 pm and I was ready for dinner. Their was a nice restaurant there that I decided to go to. I didn't want to order anything too expensive so I just got a caesar's salad that was $15.30 and there was what they called table water which was free. (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.kuffler.de/en/muenchen/seehaus/index.php&ei=cc2xTc68IYyatwfn-OXfCw&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CCcQ7gEwAQ&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dseehaus%2Brestaurant-english%2Bgarden%2Bmenu%26hl%3Den%26gl%3Dus%26prmd%3Divns) I had a long and fun day here at the English Garden and was ready to go back to my hostel and relax.

Munich, Germany

It's around 8:00 am and I'm still in Regensburg. I have to get to the train station for my departure to Munich, which is the next city I will be visiting. Munich is a bigger city compared to the last two cities I visited. I'm not a city person but I'm sure that there will be a lot of things that I can discover/see when I get there. I was told from someone back home that I should definitely visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, which is almost ever girls dream to visit. I was really excited and couldn't wait to see this castle or the other places I'm going to visit. When I was heading to train I started to get home sick and didn't feel to well. I never would have thought this would happen after all the fun I'm having, but it did. But after getting situated on the train I started to fell a little less nauseous. The driver of the train announced the final call to aboard the train and that we will be arriving in Munich at about  9:30 am which is actually 10:45 am. I am now checking into my hostel and it is by far my favorite one. It was very high class but cheap and it was located and a wonderful and calm area. There were a lot of attractions near it because the hostel offered a free walking tour. I knew that this hostel would best fit me and the places that I wanted to visit And it also offers a lot of useful things.
(https://secure.hostelbookers.com/checkout/index.cfm) Even though I liked the hostel I had to get ready to go to the English Garden which I would be at all day.

Thurn und Taxis

The Thurn und Taxis was open until 5:00 pm and it was around 3:00 pm so Arabella and I decided to go there after we at lunch. It wasn't too far from the Altes Rathaus so we didn't waste that much time. Once we got there we took a tour of the Treasure Chamber because it seemed more interesting and it was a lot cheaper. We only paid about $5.00 for the tour. The estimated time of the tour would only be about an hour and a half because it was only one section of the Thurn und Taxis. This place was phenomenal and was a fantastic place to see. Arabella and I always wanted to break off from the tour group and see other rooms but the tour guide kept a good eye on the group. So many events, conferences, concerts and so much more are held here. This was an amazing place to see and I think that everyone that visits Germany should definitely visit the Thurn und Taxis.(http://www.thurnundtaxis.de/

Altes Rathaus

It seems to be that in every new city I go to their always has to be a day that doesn't go too well. Well today is that day. I woke up at about 6:00 am and I couldn't fall back asleep because someone else that was in my dorm was snoring really loud. After I was up for 3 hours I got dressed and headed down to breakfast. I was planning on not spending a lot because I wanted to save money so I headed over to Arabella's house to see if she new about any tours going on today. When I went over she wasn't sleeping and she invited me in for a cup of coffee while we discussed the situation. She said that most tours already started but I'm sure you would e able to join them and listen to wait they are saying. Most of the tours were in English so I wouldn't have trouble understanding. After coffee I invited Arabella out to tour the city with me and she was more than happy to join. We got on our bikes and were on our way. We saw one tour that were taking a tour bus around the city so we kept looking. Once we got a couple blocks away and towards all the buildings we saw a tour heading to the Altes Rathaus. We parked our bikes and we walked around with the group. This saves you a lot of money but you can NOT do this all the time. The tour guide didn't notice we were part of the group and that was really good. After the tour guide explained everything outside, we headed inside and looked around and it was very amusing. It was the oldest Town Hall and it was very plain from the inside but the history was very interesting. It was starting to get boring so me and Arabella decided to go outside and eat some lunch. I took some rolls and muffins from the hostel and she had 2 bottles of water for us. After touring the Altes Rathaus we went to go see other places and we just rode our bikes and followed the group like we were tourists. After lunch we will head to the Thurn und Taxis.

Walhalla Temple

As I woke up I was hoping that today would be a good day. I had to be up and ready so I can head to the Walhalla Temple, which I was waiting to go to ever since I saw it on the way in. I was wondering how I was going to get to the Walhalla Temple and I wasn't to sure how. So after I ate breakfast and obviously took some rolls and they also had muffins, I saw an old man so I approached him and asked if he knew where I could rent a bike from. He told me that he would lend it to me for the entire time I was there for only $15.00. After finding transportation to the Temple I couldn't wait to see it. It took me about 20 minutes to get from my hostel to the Temple. I had to hike up a huge grassy hill and a lot of stairs. I was completely out of energy after I got to the top. Although I was extremely tired I was ready to tour the Temple. It was beautiful from the inside let alone the outside I was in awe. There was a girl there that looked a little but older than me and seemed very friendly. I walked up to her and introduced myself and she caught on very quickly that I was American. Her name was Arabella. I thought it was a beautiful name and we got along very well. I asked her why she came to the Walhalla Temple if she lived in Regensburg and she said that she has been here so many times that the owners let her come whenever she pleases to. She had a lot of great stories that she shared with me and after a couple hours of touring the Temple it was time to head back into town. We met up by KFC because that is where I was familiar with. We walked around and she got me some leftovers from her place to eat later at my hostel and she also showed me all the little details tourists don't see. It was very fascinating. After a few hours of that I was ready to go back to my hostel and hit the sheets. She told me if she needed anything I could just walk a couple blocks from my hostel to her house.

Old Stone Bridge

After I was done at the Cathedral I decided to head back towards my hostel and just explore. As I was walking around I had to use the restroom really bad and I had a lot of trouble finding one. I went into a small pastry market by my hostel to see if they had a bathroom. I walked into the market and as I was waiting to ask if they had a bathroom I saw a Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant, so I decided to go over there instead. I walked in and I pulled out my dictionary to see how to say "do you have a bathroom" and the cashier said "you don't need that here." I was so happy because when you have to go, you have to go! After I left KFC I headed to the Old Stone Bridge to take pictures and just enjoy the nature of Germany. I felt like a little kid in a candy shop, everything was just so pleasing to my eyes. I then started to get really hungry and I couldn't find anywhere that looked good so I decided to go back to KFC. I decided that I got a whole bunch of food for any $4.30, it was called 3ER box.( http://www.kfc.de/produkte/all-box ) I was so full and it was getting pretty late that I decided to head back to my hostel so I can get some sleep because I was so exhausted. Well I can't wait for a good adventure tomorrow!

St. Peter's Cathedral

I just got to Regensburg and its about 1:45 pm. I went up to my hostel and it was a little smaller than the one in Regensburg and you didn't have any privacy AT ALL! Anyways I got settled in and went out and started exploring.. The great thing about Regensburg is that you can walk almost everywhere which was really good because I only have $3,000 dollars to spend. Well it was really hot and the sun was blazing but I made it to the cathedral in about 20 minutes. The tour of the cathedral was at 2:00 pm and I was 15 minutes late. So I asked someone who worked there, I wasn't sure what they did, if I could just look around inside and take some pictures because I was visiting from America. They said I was allowed but only for a half hour. As I was looking around the Cathedral I felt like I was back home, it reminded me of the University of Pittsburgh Learning Cathedral. It had long and tall ceilings that arced at the top. It was so beautiful and I was very thankful that the people there let me look around and see it. I couldn't believe I got the chance of a lifetime to see something like that. I would definitely recommend going here if you like old and natural art. (http://www.stpetercathedral.org/virtual_tour.html

Regensburg, Germany

Its around 11:00 am and I'm heading to the train station to go to Regensburg which is the next city I will be visiting. I am excited and really hope its just as beautiful as Frankfurt. I had a lot of fun in Frankfurt and I'm going to miss it. Now it's time to begin a new day in a different city! When I go to the train station I was having some trouble finding the train I needed to get to because everything was in German and I didn't know how to read it. Well I remembered that I found a German dictionary that translates to English which was very helpful for me. The train I'm taking doesn't have an exact time it departs so I wanted to get there early enough so that I wouldn't have to wait for the next train. The driver of the train announced that the train will be departing at 12:15 pm, and I got to the train at 12:00 pm and was really lucky I had that dictionary or else I would of had to wait until the next train. I wasn't sure if the train gave us any snacks or something to drink so I took a couple of rolls and a small coffee with me on the train. The driver said on the loud speaker in German "all aboard" and then we were on our way. I cant wait to see Regensburg, I'll let you know all about it when I get to my hostel!

Zeilgalerie

I was amazed by the Myzeil shopping center and couldn't wait to see the Zelgalerie. It was around 3:00 when I got to the Zeilgalerie and it was just as beautiful as the Myzeil. Once I got inside of the Zeilgalerie it was very tall and it seemed like it extended forever As I was walking around looking at each store I spotted a girl and she looked around the same age as me. I went up to her and introduced myself and she did the same. Her name was Veronica and she lived in Delaware. She told me that she was in Germany because she was studying a broad for architecture. That was her major at the University of Delaware. Although I had a nice and fun time at the Zeilgalerie, Veronica and I decided to walk outside and look for somewhere to eat lunch at. I wan't a huge fan of the Zeilgalerie mall but if you like to spend money or a shopaholic, by all means this is where the "party" is at! (http://www.zeilgalerie.de/home/?L=1) We sat near a fountain and continued talking about each other and becoming friends. I looked at the time and it was around 6:00, I had to get back to my hostel for free all you can eat spaghetti buffet. I took the train back to my hostel and made it just in time for me to grab a plate full of spaghetti and a little desert they had. I sat outside because the whether was beautiful and I enjoyed the peaceful cool night. After I was done I headed up to my dorm room (hostel) and got ready for my departure to Regensburg.

Myzeil Shopping Center

I woke up a little later than usually because I was so tired from being up the night before. I went down to eat breakfast so I didn't miss it. My time in Frankfurt is almost done. I am going to see and look at some shopping malls and get a grasp of the fashion they have in German and see if America and Germany have different or the same style. I like shopping a lot but I don't think I will be getting anything from the mall, just going to wonder around and just look around. After breakfast and getting my little lunch/snack for later, I went back to my room to start getting my things back together so I wouldn't be late for my train departure the next morning. As I was waiting for my train to arrive I went to go sit down on the benches because I knew I was going to be standing all day and could use some rest. I noticed a small but rather large book on the bench I went to go sit at, and luckily it was a translation dictionary from English to German and German to English. Today was going a lot better than yesterday! I got to the Myzeil mall and it was nothing I have ever seen before in my life. It was unique and had its own texture to it and beautiful I couldn't wait to go inside and see if the inside was just as beautiful as the outside. There were so many people inside that it looked like chaos, but I had to see everything in here. I got to the mall around 11:00 am so I had all day to look at everything. I saw the most amazing things I have ever seen. I walked into a store that was just for ladies/juniors and the strangest thing happened to me. Some guy walked up to me and started to talk in German and then he realized that I didn't know German and spoke English. He asked if i could try something on for him because I was about the same size of his daughter and I tried on the things he wanted to get her. It was actually really fun. I'm not a fan of crowded and chaotic places but if you like being around a lot of people this mall was just right for you. (  http://www.myzeil.de/myzeilinfo.html )

Museum fur Angewandte Kunst

The hostel last night was very hot and I wasn't able to sleep well, so I am really tired. As I was getting ready to go eat breakfast and go to my next location I noticed that my wallet wasn't with me. I had to of forgotten it somewhere. I was rushing and got my things together and ran down to the front desk. I accidentally hit a little boy and he fell over crying. I got to the front desk and they told me someone reported a lost wallet and lucky it was mine. After I got my wallet I was eating breakfast and the little boy that I ran into told his mom that I ran into him and she started yelling at me in German so I ignored her and that made her more mad. So I went to the breakfast table where everything was out and got a couple more rolls and some fruit and ran out of the hostel so my day couldn't get any worse. I then got to the train station in time for the departure to the museum. All of a sudden I remembered that I didn't bring my backpack. I had to go back and get it because it had everything I needed for my day in there. Once I got back to the station the train I was supposed to get on left but there was another one going to the same place coming into the station so that saved my day! The museum had an old fashioned theme to it and I didn't think that I would like it, but I decided to stay and explore it anyways. I didn't expect to see the things I did. Everything that I saw was very old fashioned. I actually liked it, each sculpture that was there had a little description about its history. There wasn't much to do around the area of the museum but it had a nice and quiet environment. By the time I ate lunch and waited for the train to arrive at the museum it was already 3:30. When I got on the train there was an old lady struggling with her bags so I helped her off the bus, she tried to give me some money but I told her no. Then she said in broken English if I wanted to go to her place for a nice home cooked dinner. I couldn't pass up that offer. She lived with her husband in a small apartment a few blocks from the train station. After a great meal and a long day it was around 8:00 pm and I decided to get a early sleep because I didn't sleep well the night before. So if your looking for an old fashioned environment, the Museum fur Angewandte Kunst is the right place for you to go (http://www.angewandtekunst-frankfurt.de/mak_e/english/04_sammlungen.html).

Stadel Museum

It's 9:00 am and I'm heading down to the main lobby to eat some breakfast. After I was done eating I took a couple extra rolls and some fruit for later in case i get a little hungry. I am now going to head to the train station so I can start my day early at the museum. When I arrived at the train station i didn't see the train that I was supposed to take and I didn't know what to do. I tried talking to the cashier and ask him when is the next time train the goes there but he was so old and didn't know English that I just left the ticket booth. As I was walking away I ran into Esteban. He asked me where I was headed to and he decided to change his plans and come to the museum with me. He didn't have a car or any type of transportation, so we took the cab. It only took us about 20 minutes to get there and we were excited to see what was inside of the museum. I told Esteban that since he paid for the cab I would share my snacks that I took from the hotel with him and he didn't mind. The museum was gorgeous from the outside and we had to pay another admission free to get in. Once we entered our jaws dropped from how unique and interesting everything looked so old fashion. There were so many different paintings and sculptures that you always wanted to keep looking at was going to come next. It was around 2:30 pm so we decided to eat lunch out front because of the nice scenery. There was even a trail that you could walk along and after lunch we went on a walk and just explored the nature part of Frankfurt. By the time we went on a walk and got back to the Stadel Museum it was already 4:00 pm. I had a fun day, and if you like art like me and Esteban or just want to have a calm and relaxing time i suggest you head to the Stadel Museum ( http://www.staedelmuseum.de/sm/index.php?StoryID=15). We exchange hostel locations and both headed our separate ways. My hostel Had an "All you can eat" spaghetti buffet only on Friday and Saturday so I ate there. After dinner I sat outside to get grasp a concept on how German's live their everyday life's. It started to get dark outside so I headed back to hostel for a good nights sleep.

Frankfurt Zoo

I had a wonderful day at the zoo. The zoo here was a lot bigger than the one that's in Pittsburgh. It looked incredible from the outside, you wouldn't even think it was a zoo. It had over 4,500 animals and about 400 species. It was very cheap to get into the zoo and you always had something to do. I would definitely recommend visiting the zoo if you ever visited Frankfurt. ( http://www.zoo-frankfurt.de/schnellzugriff/information-in-english.html). The best thing about the zoo was that they had activities for all ages. I went to petting zone of the zoo and I started to get hungry so I headed over to the food quart. I already had a lunch packed because I would rather have a nice healthy meal, rather than spending a lot on something little. The market that I got my food from was affordable and I couldn't believe how cheap they were. I got a loaf of bread for $3.44, 500gr of cheese for $3.90, fresh fruits for $2.23 for 1kg of apples, $4.20 for 1kg of bananas, and $4.35 for 1kg of grapes.( ). Anyways as I was eating my lunch a picnic table and someone came and asked me if they could sit with me. His name was Esteban and he was from Texas. After we were done eating he asked me if I wanted to accompany him in exploring the rest of the zoo so I did. It was a long day but it was definitely worth it.

Frankfurt, Germany

I just landed in Frankfurt and it's 9:35 am. It is a beautiful city and I couldn't wait until i got settled in my hostel and went out. Their is an International train that goes from the airport to main train station around 1:00 pm so I have to wait until it gets here. Everyone looked at me like I was an alien and I wasn't supposed to be there. I just got back from the bathroom and I ran into a person that speaks English and they were German and very nice. He told me his name but it was too German that i forgot it right away and he told me about Frankfurt and what he thought would be best for me to look at. He mentioned a lot of the places that I'm going to visit and I was really excited. It's 12:50 so I have to find the terminal where the train comes to. The plus side is that my hostel is steps away from the main train station. The hostel is very cozy, but it doesn't have a lot of things that you would expect in them. They served breakfast in the morning, the rooms or more like college dorms, and you had to use a community bathroom. Other than the small negative things the hostel was cheap, in a great location, and you got to meet many different people. If you ever go to Frankfurt I strongly suggest that you stay in a hostel like mine. (http://www.hostels.com)After I got settled in I was ready to start me trip and explore. I'm going to head to the Frankfurt Zoo and I will let you know more about it once I get back!

Frankfurt, Regensburg, Munich, and Freiburg

I am going to visit 3 different cities in Germany. The city that i will be arriving in is Frankfurt which is a small area and very quit. The second city I will be visiting is a beautiful and historical city located a little east of Frankfurt which is Regensburg. I am also going to visit a more common know city in Germany which is Munich. It is a more bigger city so their is a lot more places to explore there. The last city I'm going to see is Freiburg, a little near the boarder of France. I thought that it would be really expensive if I just took different trains to each city, but luckily i found a really good price on a train pass to all the cities I'm going to visit.( http://www.eurorailways.com/products/trains_passes/single_country/germany.htm )

Landing in New York

The plane ride was not that long and i couldn't take a nap. I have a layover for about 6 hours here in New York, so I decided to explore the airport and see what they have. This airport is huge, and has a lot of places to explore. I started to walk around the airport and I ran into a wall, then i went into the mens bathroom, and the worst things kept happening to me that i just went back to gate and decided to take a nap. I will talk to you guys later!
